Kramnik vs. Deep Fritz title

A man-machine match held in Bahrain from October 2-21, 2002 between World Champion Vladimir Kramnik and computer Deep Fritz finished in a 4-4 draw, with 2 wins each and 4 draws. Game #8 (a 21-move draw) was the shortest game of the match. Kramnik was unable to overcome Fritz’s solid defense. With 8 processors and 6,000,000 moves per second, Deep Fritz is the most powerful Chess computer on earth.
