Hi,

In your mail (letter #8, 2005) you state that it is not possible to make a checkmate with a King and two Knights.

Is that a fact? I've always believed that in Chess everything is possible and a mate could be achieved.

Thanks

Dear viewer,

Our answer is still the same: “A combination of a King and two Knights alone cannot force a checkmate”.

Of course, the lonely King can go into a corner and let himself be checkmated as shown in the diagram on letter #8, 2005.

Below, there is a way of practicing this situation. You play white and move first. You may try to checkmate the computer but be warned... this will never happen!
