Just to let you know this sad information: six months after his 75th birthday, former world class player Bent Larsen died in Buenos Aires on September 9, 2010.
Bent Larsen
Bent Larsen was born on March 4, 1935. He was a self-taught and one of the best Chess players in the world. He was a six times Danish champion and played for Denmark in the Chess Olympiads.
In 1971, he achieved an ELO of 2755 and was number three in the world ranking. Larsen managed in 1976 to win the Inter Zonal Tournament in Biel.
Bent Larsen lived with his wife in Buenos Aires from 1980.
