Was it Florencio Campomanes the first FIDE President?
We're trying to make a short history of Chess with topics as the first world Chess champion, first Chess Olympiad, first Woman champion, etc.
Thanks.

Dear viewer,
The first FIDE President was the Dutchman Alexander Rueb.
He held the position for 25 years, from 1924 to 1949. Afterwards, he remained an Honorary President for another 10 years.
Rueb was born on December 27, 1882 and died February 2, 1959.
