How many pieces another Chess piece (e.g. a Queen or Rook) is allowed to capture during a game?

Greetings.

Dear viewer,

There is no limit. Any Chess piece is allowed to capture as many pieces as it legally and possible can.

A game by Mark Lyell (2219) vs. Jon S Friedland (2163) played at the London MSO Banwell mem tournament on 08/26/2001 holds the record for most captures made by one single piece. Mark Lyell white Queen captured eleven black pieces on this game.
