When the King is in check, can we
have an extra turn to protect it?
Dear visitor,
Only one move or turn
per player is allowed during a Chess game.
When your opponent
checks your King, you need to move it out of check on your very next
turn by interposing one of your pieces between the attacking piece
and your King or, capturing the attacking piece with your King or
any other piece, or moving your King out of check to a safe square.
If none of the above
is possible, your King has been checkmated and the game ends.
