I would like to know if Kings can be taken among themselves.

Dear viewer,

Kings cannot be taken among themselves or, a player capture the opponent's King or, attack themselves under any circumstances.

It is not legal to checkmate the opponent's King with your own King even if your King is backed up with a friendly piece. Kings can't even be near each other, It should always be a lateral or diagonal square either empty or occupied between the two.
