21 to 27, 2005 in London, UK, GM Michael Adams with an ELO rating of 2741 plays a six game match against Hydra Supercomputer which can analyze 200 million Chess moves per second and projecting the game 18-4 move head (6 more than Deep Blue). Hydra is a 64-way cluster computer
(64 computers connected and operating as if they
were a single machine) with each computer having an Intel Xeon 3.06 Ghz. Up to this match, Hydra has never been beaten by a human. Hydra defeats Adams without losing a single game. On rest day June 24th, Hydra played against
